Full course description

Adult learners are students for whom being students is not their primary role in life. Regardless of how important their education may be to them, adult learners have other priorities and responsibilities that often take precedence over their education. In this course, you will define adult learners, their characteristics and unique needs, describe strategies for working effectively with diverse adult learners in the online environment, evaluate conceptual frameworks relevant to online engagement, and review strategies to address online pedagogical opportunities and threats. This course is part of the online teaching for adult learners.
